      Content optimization one of important aspect in promotion of your website and in search engine optimization. How to define relevance of the document to certain search inquiry? Earlier search engines ranged pages, estimating their maintenance - texts. In particular, the great value was given to frequency of a key phrase - that is a percentage part of a keyword or several words in text.

      Therefore modern search engines consider not only frequency, but also set of other parameters - keyword or phrase presence in headings, lists, texts of links of the menu. Moreover, search engines more and more attention give to reference ranging - that is to quantity and quality of links from other sites on the given resource. Nevertheless, if the site moves ahead on set of low-frequency inquiries or inquiries with a low competition, text optimization can yield good result. Therefore they should be interesting not only to robots, but also real people who will read them. Important during optimization not to go too far.   But in practice there are pages on which the density of keywords considerably exceeds 8 % that does not prevent to be to the document on the top positions in delivery. Therefore it is necessary to approach to definition of optimum frequency individually, analyzing similar indicators at sites of competitors. Other important aspect  - text volume on page. For example, there are two texts. In the first 500 words and the key phrase meets 10 times. In the second - 50 words and the key phrase meets only 1 time. Frequency identical - 2 %.   These figures are received on the basis of empirical data, better to say, supervision. Any developers of search engines have not confirmed and have not denied this data. Nevertheless, it is impossible to trust the table blindly. First, search engines differently consider weight of tags. And at any moment developers can change factors for this or that element.
  Searchers, in particular, Google, look on URL. Use of keywords in a domain name can raise a site in search engine results.
  Besides, some search engines consider tags TT, EM, OL, LI, U and others. There is an opinion that tag STRONG has more weight than tag B. Arise a question what tag to use better - EM or I? And why nobody pays attention on tag CITE which is intended for registration of citations? Perhaps, it has more weight than EM and I together.   Search engines consider all the size long title and meta-tags, but only a certain part. For example, Google considers the first 70 symbols. For meta-description these indicators are equal 156.   As practice shows, it is better to optimize each page under 2-3 keywords or phrases. For the main page it is necessary to choose the most frequency and competitive inquiries. With other things being equal (quantity and quality of links to a site) the optimized text becomes that factor which will deduce the main page above competitors. For minor pages it is possible to choose less frequency and competitive inquiries on which it is possible to take high positions only by means of text optimization. For each page it is extremely desirable to register unique title and meta-tags.
  There is still a specialized parameter of tag META which serves for management of a route of search spider. It is parameter "ROBOTS", it can accept values index/noidex, folow/nofollow: index/noindex to index/not to index the content of web page; follow/nofollow to follow/not to follow further under external links on the web page.

For example, on the given page links to useful resources which on your server do not lie are located. Really you want, that the robot has left on one of them and by that did not begin to index your site? Certainly is not present. This parameter of tag META very  useful. The majority of the most popular (though and not all) search engines it support.

Web page optimisation errors

  I think that some the web designer the same as also I, by optimization of the web page often commit errors or miss any aspect. And then it is necessary to come back, estimate already made, to eliminate defects, in general to spend an extra time. All it occurs not from ignorance, and that each separate page demands an individual approach and all is difficult so to a descent to make correctly.

   In given article I will consider the basic errors of content optimization.

1.    Wrong title.
   In tag title it is recommended to use only one exact occurrence of key inquiry right at the beginning. If advance by several inquiries make the text the most readable, instead of simply set of key phrases. Tag title should be registered for each page and to be unique.
Absence tag <H1> on page. This tag on a number with title is very important and should include exact occurrence of a keyword.

2.    The structure of headings is wrong.
   Though the error and not fatal, but nevertheless can affect indexing of pages of a site and ranging in PS  to the worst. Headings should follow correctly, i.e. at first goes tag <H1>, and in one copy, then tag  <H2> etc. in any quantities.

3.    Use others tags in <H1>.
   It is necessary to avoid here such designs: <h1> <span> Errors of internal optimization <span> </h1> or  to conclude links in <H1>. It considerably reduces weight of tag. Earlier I committed a similar error and have paid with bad ranging of pages of a site.

4.    Graphic or Flash heading.
    On the main page of a site it is necessary to do heading text and to conclude it in tag<H1> or to duplicate graphic heading by the text.

5.    Absence of pictures and tags in them.
   By means of images it is possible to collect not bad the additional traffic from search in pictures. Also it is necessary to register attribute ALT always.

6.    Wrong internal links (or its absence).
   At the expense of correct internal links it is possible to promote on LF to inquiries. Superfluous  internal links that is bad. On page there should not be more than 100 internal links. So the uncle bequeaths us Google. Is better to refer on 3-5 articles approaching on subjects.

7.    A Considerable quantity of external links.
   It reduces page weight, trust of resource also decreases. Is better to close links in nofollow, which are necessary only for users.

8.    Spamdeksing.
   It is not necessary to use methods of "black optimization" for content optimization: one pixel  links, a hidden text. Searchers define today similar methods very easily and impose filters.
